About Us

The Kit Carson State Bank opened for business in November of 1909 in Wild Horse, Colorado as the Alfalfa State Bank. It was moved to Kit Carson, Colorado in 1912 and the name was changed to the Kit Carson State Bank. The home office is located at 113 Main Street in Kit Carson, Colorado. In August of 1996, we opened our second branch in Cheyenne Wells, and in September of 2000 we opened our third branch in Burlington. Under the leadership of President Bruce Andersen, an experienced, full service, staff is available at all three locations.
